YDRobotics is a spin-out company of YDreams specializing in robotics and mechatronics.

Our strategy consists on building innovative and modular products, by applying both currently available and developed in-house robotic technologies, as well as mobile computing devices. We aim at simultaneously meeting current user’s needs, and creating as well, new market segments for robotics applications and products.

Contrary to the current trend on developing complex, expensive service robots, we propose to develop simple and affordable robotic platforms, within short time-to-market periods, leveraging on the current wide dissemination of mobile devices. Our ultimate goal is to become the worldwide robotics company of reference, bringing robots into people’s lives.

The shift of paradigm from complex robots to simpler, fast and cheap robots enabled them to travel to Mars and changed NASA’s approach to interplanetary explorations. It is now the time to employ similar strategies for bringing robots into people’s life.
